Day 7 – SkyRide in St. Thomas!

Today we were visiting St. Thomas! We decided to pass on a beach and do something different. We told everyone they could turn their phones off airplane mode in St. Thomas which was pretty exciting for all of us!

Bonnie was understandably hesitant, so I sent her the ATT coverage map –

Boom!

We walked around up top for a little while.

The boys were distracted by an empty basketball court.

Hey! We know them!

At some point, Chase got a text from a friend from college, and the conversation went something like –

Are you on a Disney ship? Chase said yes, and he was like, dude. We are parked right in front of you.

Ha! Sure ’nuff!

They were going to try to meet up later in the day.

Chase and Olivia had decided to keep the engagement off of social media until they could tell all of their friends. Yes, it was killing me.

But I did understand!

They decided if they met up with these friends, they would tell them! It’s harder to keep a secret in person!

We met up for an early lunch before getting off the ship.

While we were eating, we noticed this happening.

Cutest Christmas card ever?

We got off and walked to the tram.

Look, it’s The Pneumonia!

What a view!

We took several pictures up top, of course!

I told Chase that if he really wanted to keep the engagement a secret, they needed to be careful that Olivia’s hand wasn’t in any pictures anyone posted! I think they succeeded.

Anniversary couple!

While we were taking pictures, I noticed this giant creature in a nearby tree. He was huge!

Selfie!

Stephen and Ally!

Olivia and Chase!

After we got back down, we started walking to the shopping area around the corner. As we were walking, a shuttle stopped and offered to take us downtown. We agreed and hopped in!

Ally got this cute hat!

It’s like an album cover.

Someone needs to tell my son how is supposed to look at his fiancé!

Finally we went back to the ship. Bonnie sent me this at some point! Ack! So jealous!

Goodbye, St. Thomas!

Dinner! Apparently I only took my phone…

Anniversary dessert!

And pin!

After dinner was the premiere of Rogue One! Carter left early to get in line, and told us we needed to hurry. We did! This was the line 45 minutes before it started.

We got good seats though. We all loved it! Great movie!

Then it was bed time. Sea day tomorrow!
