Day 5 – Sea Day

Sea day!  Woohoo!  I love sea days.  It’s a great chance to sleep in, and really enjoy all the ship has to offer.

We only slept until 7:30, but it was nice!

We got ready and went to Windjammers for breakfast.

It was pretty quiet out!

After eating, we went back to the room to test the internet for my Zoom call today. It was strong, but off and on, so I was a little nervous.

We went to the Internet Café to check it out one more time, but I realized I couldn’t plug headphones in. So that wouldn’t work!

We shopped a little after that. The lady at the perfume store was so sweet! We talked to her for a while and bought some makeup.

And left with like 4 scents of perfume on. Ha!

Back in our room, we had made an important discovery. There was a switch where you could turn the ship announcements on so they would play in your room. Which I really liked! No more racing to hold the door open, or finding the correct TV channel if we were in our room and heard an announcement playing in the hall.

But even more important, when it was on and no announcements were playing, the hallway music played in your room! So smart!

We kept that on during the days and enjoyed the Caribbean music playing. We decided on Windjammers again for lunch.

We also had ice cream. Of course!

We walked around for a little while and took some SD-14 pictures. We couldn’t leave him out!

It was a beautiful day!

Then it was back to the room for a shower and then my zoom call. It worked well!

Here’s our verandah view today:

After I was done, we walked around filming some videos.

Then it was dinner time!

Chicken parmesan! Woohoo!

And more ice cream.

This was Debbie’s:

We went back to the Viking Crown Lounge for a little while, and then we went to see the show. The show tonight was Bryan Cheatham, who was on America’s Got Talent. He definitely had talent! We enjoyed it!

Then we went to the Imperial lounge for a little while before bed.

Check out this sassy little towel animal:

It was a nice relaxing day!
