Day – Last Day Onboard!

It was our last day onboard!  This morning was our character breakfast.  Stephen and I convinced (forced?) Ally to go with us, but we couldn’t get anyone else to join us.

Plamen was always so worried when everyone didn’t come.  Unfortunately, that was a lot this cruise!

If you’ve never been to a character breakfast on the cruise – this happens:

To everyone:

Isn’t this lovely?

But then your pictures look so festive!

Ally went through a couple of hats:

After breakfast we stopped by the laundry room! Since the kids were staying in the UK after we went home, they really needed as much clean laundry as possible. So we did laundry! Again!

Then we roamed:

After laundry finished, we caught one of our favorite cruise activities – Jack Jack’s diaper dash! Jack Jack’s Diaper Dash is absolutely hilarious. Unfortunately today there were only two entries. It was still so funny.

The babies start at one end and when the race begins their parent on the other end tries to convince them to come! The parents use stuffed animals, cell phones, anything. The audience cheers and screams which sometimes terrifies the racers.

Seriously, don’t miss this. It’s so fun.

See mom enticing baby with a cone?

We saw my Dad there who was finishing his pineapple Ice Cream!! What?! Pineapple Ice Cream? I have got to get me some!

We went to another animation class next and then went to see the ice carving demonstration.

After that we went to Diversions to see what was happening. We did a family pub quiz in which we did pretty well, but didn’t win. Then we played riveting games of checkers:

For the first time, the ship was rocking and rolling a bit. I felt okay, but wow we were rolling.

I took a nap just in case. Laying down always makes me feel better.

Tonight’s dinner was in Parrot Cay. Our last dinner! The Pnemonia was there! It was the first night they actually made it to a dinner in Parrot Cay! On the last night, lol!

At one point Mom broke out something she’d probably been dying to use all cruise. The giant telescoping fork!

All the better to eat your neighbor’s food with.

Meisa thought it was especially hilarious!

One of my favorite dinners! Beef Wellington! Of course, I can’t eat it without thinking of Hell’s Kitchen.

My children have a habit of rolling straw wrappers into little balls and aiming them for other people’s drinks on the table. I don’t know who raised them.

Anywhoo – with all the refills we were getting, there were a lot of straw wrappers on this cruise! I resorted to protecting my drink thusly:

Dessert!

Baked Alaska!

I always get a Mickey bar the last night:

Here’s Plamen and Meisa! We miss you!

After dinner we skipped the show and packed. Then we all went to the Til We Meet Again show and ran around for character photos. Well, Ally and I did.

During Til We Meet Again, the characters are introduced and then disperse all over the lobby. There’s about 15-20 minutes to run around and get pictures. The lines are incredibly short and you can see just about everyone during that timeframe, believe it or not. Here they come!

Hello Donald:

Ally has always loved Stitch:

This is what the boys did while we took pictures:

We ended the night with the Alfred and Seymour in the adult theater. That theater was packed. They were wise to have it there. We were all crying we were laughing so hard.

I went upstairs for some pineapple ice cream after the show. Rookie mistake! The ice cream closes at 10!! Shoot. I settled for pizza with Chase and we watched one of our favorite movies – Remember the Titans for a little while on funnelvision. Not a bad trade-off.
