Day 12 – Dublin

I woke up at 7 today.  It was my first time in Ireland!  Yay!

And Jeb had joined us!  Woot!

We had breakfast in cabanas.

Then I took pictures on deck 4.

We’re off!

There was a shuttle to the port, so we hopped on. There were river dancers and several other performers by the ship!

Some of the most giant dogs ever! Dire wolves maybe?

On the bus!

The shuttle bus dropped us off right downtown.

We walked by Trinity college. The line to see the Book of Kells was monstrous!

We started wandering through the town and through some gift shops. I bought my Starbucks mug!

We got truffles somewhere:

One of my main goals was the Disney Store which we found without any problems.

The employees were so incredibly friendly! And the local merchandise section was amazing.

We spent some money and bought some things. I thought these pencil cases were adorable, so I bought one for Ally and one to give away.

We came out and went into a small mall nearby.

These cracked me up.

We were starting to get hungry, so we found a little deli nearby to eat. This was yummy and wayyyy too big.

The Cake Pop was the bomb though!

When we came out, it was raining, which made wandering around a little less appealing.

We walked to the park.

Ally found a duck.

The rain was still going, so we started walking back to the bus.

Bram Stoker was here!

I forgot to say they were giving away these ponchos for us onboard! Disney thinks of everything.

When we got back, there was this amazing invitation in our room!

But shoot! That was right during our Palo brunch! Oh noeses!

Well we would figure it out.

I also took this time to take a bunch of phone pictures of my purchases! A journal for Chase from Edinburgh:

Everton shirt from Liverpool:

My mugs so far. So mad I didn’t get Liverpool:

My suitcase stickers so far:

Cute notebooks and postcards:

We went up top for drinks and a snack and found the sun had come out and it was gorgeous!

Snack!

Irish flag!

We all went to the hot tub. Then I got a snack and we took turns showering.

Stephen and I watched the Frozen maypole happenings for a little while.

Hi Max!

Hey, there goes Suzy!

We must follow!

Then we went back up top for the sailaway!

Soon enough it was time for dinner in Carioca’s.

It was Frozen night!

We had our necklaces!

Dessert!

We decided to go change into something warmer for the Frozen deck party and we were glad we did. They were passing out blankets on deck!

The bartenders had these awesome sweaters on:

Some guests decided they weren’t wasting their pirate gear.

This family won for cutest outfits/most spirit though.

We’re up there!

No matter what your feelings on Frozen are, the sing-a-longs are pretty fun. Everyone gets into them!

It’s snowing!

We had fun!

We went back to the room for a little while afterwards and then we were off to the magic show!

I had popcorn.

It was awesome, but crazy. Skepticism of Hector the magician emojis?

The girls went to a movie afterwards and we went to bed!

The ship was rocking and rolling all night long.
