Day 10 – A Day in Iceland and then Home!

Today we started the long journey home. Luckily for us we had a 9 hour layover in Iceland! So we took full advantage.

Here’s my new Denmark sticker!

And before we knew it, we were in Iceland! We rented a car.

And a Coke for the road.

A little bit of Disney was with us:

Our first goal was one of the national parks.

Hello, Iceland!

After walking around for a while, we walked back to the car and started driving back to Reykjavik. We passed a pull out and walked around some more.

We stopped for frozen nitrogen ice cream!

We bought a sticker (no Starbucks in Iceland, sadness) and headed back to the airport. What a great day! I love Iceland! I have got to go back!
