Day 8 – Sea Day

We woke up at 7:45 today! 

We laid around until we realized breakfast was about to end!  Ack!  We jumped up and got ready.

We ate in Cosmopolitan.  I had pancakes!

After breakfast, we went to trivia.

We knew we had a Covid test coming that day to get back into the U.S., but we were putting it off until the last minute possible!

Trivia was in the club.

As was Coke Zero.

Trivia was hard! But we did okay!

During trivia, the Covid test reminders over the speakers were becoming more and more insistent. We decided we better go after trivia.

When we walked up, they said, Audrey and Tammy? We were like – wuh oh. We were the last ones!

But we got it done.  Then we went and changed in the room.

We went to the buffet for lunch!

My lunch was eclectic.

After lunch we decided to stop by the Rooftop Garden to watch Mama Mia for a few minutes.

Then we went back to the chairs.

At this point, whenever I approached the pool bar, they got a can of Coke Zero out and ready for me without me even asking. They knew what I wanted!

After a relaxing afternoon, we showered, packed, and got ready for dinner. Dinner was in Normandie tonight!

After dinner, we walked by The Club and saw Andrew Derbyshire performing again, so we stopped in.

There were so many entertainers in there dancing and singing. The Flyboys, Bella Voci, etc. They really supported each other!

The last show of the week was called Rockumentary, and it was super fun!

At the end of the show, they played “We are the Champions”, while the cruise director told us all we were indeed champions, because every passenger and crew member was “Covid Negativvvvvve!!!”

Everyone cheered, haha!

We went back to our room afterwards for bed! We had a print waiting for us:

And that was the end! Getting home was fairly uneventful thankfully!

After about 46 cruises, this was my first Celebrity Experience, and I was absolutely impressed. It felt like a luxury cruise experience.

Little things make a big difference between cruise lines. I will 100% be back on Celebrity!
