Day 7 – Dubrovnik

 

Today we woke up at 7, got dressed and got off!

We paid $10 for a shuttle to old town.

We’re here!

The town was empty early in the day.

We roamed around for a while.

We decided to climb the stairs and go towards the cable cars.

We were a little early, so we sat and waited for the cable cars to open.

We rope dropped the cable cars!

What a gorgeous ride!

When we got off, we decided we definitely wanted to eat lunch up there!

This table had our name on it.

See how happy we are?

There were even blankets on the seats!

And Coca Cola Zero bottles!

We had to wait a little while for the lunch menu to open, but we weren’t in a hurry!

Food!

The view was drastically different on the other side.

Then we caught the cable car back down!

We passed several stores with Game of Thrones merchandise. Some scenes were filmed there, and they were capitalizing on that.

We stopped in a candy store with the cutest candy ever!

Giant Coke bottle gummies. I’m in.

Gators.

Eggs!

This really was the Captain of candy.

After we bought a few things, we caught the shuttle back to the ship!

We stopped and got cupcakes and relaxed in the room for a little while.

Then we went back – to the solarium. Of course.

We also stopped by the Magic Carpet.

There was a violinist at the outdoor pool today!

We got in one of the outdoor hot tubs that looked like a champagne glass. It reminded me of those old Poconos hotel ads!

Then we were back at our chairs.

Dinner was in Tuscan tonight!

I had a Caesar salad to start.

And this delicious beef stroganoff:

The show tonight was Bella Voci. They were two young women who sang contemporary songs, opera style. They called it opera for everyone! I was not overly excited by it, I don’t enjoy opera, but they blew me away! They were just amazing!

After the show, we were off to bed! Last day tomorrow!
