Day 5 – Sea Day and Formal Night

I slept until 8 today! I was finally adjusting to the time zone. Stephen got up most mornings before me and went running. Then he would bring me back a Coke Zero. He knows the way to my heart.

We went for a quick breakfast at Cabanas again. Ally was awake this time!

We found most of the family on deck 4 hanging out.

Look at my brother-in-law helping out my sister.

There was a reception for gold and platinum Castaway Club members so we, my parents, and in-laws excused ourselves.

When Brent came over, I knew I had to have a Brent Selfie!

We skipped out before the end so we wouldn’t miss Jack Jacks. My dad stayed so he wouldn’t miss the rice krispie treats!  Those are super important.

Jack Jack’s Diaper Dash!

But it was a bust. There was only one baby! So I took tree pictures!

We went to the promenade lounge and hung out for a little while before lunch.

Chase woke up and joined us at some point. When we were walking to lunch he told me he didn’t feel great, but was hoping he was just hungry. Lunch was at Lumiere’s today!

Chase only made it about 5 minutes before, and he came and said he needed to go lay down, so he left. Sadness.

Kelly’s favorite panini!

Our servers at lunch were awesome! No one got boring desserts!

Ally asked for nothing.

At one point they asked if we would like some special fruity drinks. I don’t know what these were but they were so yummy!

After lunch we went to Fathoms for a game show.

My nephew was onstage:

Stephen had gone back to the room to check on Chase and texted me at some point to say Chase was throwing up. Shoot!!!

I jumped up and went back to the room. Poor thing. He was having a rough couple of days. We spent the rest of the afternoon in the room sleeping and taking care of him as much as we could. Tonight was formal night and I was so sad Chase wouldn’t be there for the pictures among other things!

We met everyone else early. I managed to take a somewhat decent elevator shot!

Waiting in line for pictures:

My beautiful nieces:

Stephen’s brother and fam:

My sister and fam:

Dad and “The Pneumonia”!

Stephen’s parents:

Just three of us.

The whole gang (minus Chase, sad face):

Dinner time!

Fried cheese:

Our servers told us they had just got brand new uniforms!

French Onion Soup. Yum.

My dinner. Steak. Shocking I know.

This is how we entertain ourselves at dinner. Classy, right?

Look, even the server helped out!

I took some pictures of all the beautiful girlies after dinner.

Then we went to change and to see a movie. I forgot what movie! Baymax maybe?

Then it was bed for us!
