Day 5 – Excursion to Disney

We were docking in Port Canaveral today! Royal’s transfers to Disney (that sounds kind of wrong) were quite reasonably priced! So that was our goal today. We weren’t docking until late morning, so we had lots of time.

We started with breakfast:

We see Florida!

Port Canaveral!  It’s kind of weird to see it all from this direction!

Missy took a picture of us coming in!

I decided to *gasp* leave my camera onboard today. We only had about 6 hours, max, so we were just going to relax and enjoy ourselves! Of course I took my phone though!

We gathered in the theater and positioned ourselves towards the front of the line.

There were a lot of people going to Disney! I really couldn’t believe there were that many people willing to pay for one day passes when they only had a few hours there! Kelly and I were both getting annual passes that day!

So we were totally reasonable of course.

On the way, the tour guide onboard offered advice to save time and money at Disney. Some of it was strictly by the rules, some – not so much!

We were dropped off at the TTC and given a must be back time.

We went right to the ticket window.

And we are passholders again! Woot!

Our destination was Epcot to eat around the world!

See? Special entrance!

Hello, Flower and Garden festival!

Epcot selfie!

Hello, Figgie!

First, we shopped. Kelly bought a purse! This pattern, not this style.

Mater:

We decided to single rider Test Track.

Then we started our way around.

My favorite – frozen violet lemonade! Yum!!

I also love filet mignon!

And this slider was quite tasty!

We made our way to France!

And then took a boat ride in Mexico!

Even after all of that food, we had room for these:

We stopped to see Baymax! He wasn’t that exciting this time! He didn’t even waddle much. He was a lot more fun last time I saw him. But he’s still cute!

We wandered!

And used our free Photopass!

We did take a spin on Spaceship Earth as well.

We shopped a little more.

I love this Buzz topiary.

We also had room for popcorn.

And then it was time to head back to the TTC! Goodbye, Epcot!

We got back around 9:00.

Surprisingly, we were still hungry! So Johnny Rockets it was. It was about to close, and took a loooooong time, but it was still yummy.

Towel animal for tonight!

Cocoa Cay tomorrow! Time to compare islands!
