Day 3 – Thanksgiving at Disney!

After a long day the day before, we had an easy day today!  We slept in and weren’t going to any parks!

Crazy!

We had plans at Disney Springs today, and Chase and Colby wanted to try out the NBA Experience.  They needed me to get the Annual Pass discount, and they wanted to shop a little so I went with them in the morning.

We ended up at Chicken Guy!

This was mine.  It was soooo yummy.

SD-14 came this time!

We shopped a little, and then went to NBA. Look how cute these were!

I paid for them to get in, and then Olivia and I went shopping.

Chase and Colby enjoyed themselves, but they are hardcore NBA fans. Take that for what it’s worth. They did get some fun pictures!

When Chase met up with us later, we stopped to get a drink in Wolfgang Puck then met everyone else outside Earl.

Bonnie and fam had a successful day of shopping.

Brian told me that he saw an adult temper tantrum at Mara’s back at the resort.

He wasn’t sure what the person was so upset about, but he was yelling at the cashier, and when they didn’t give an answer he liked, he THREW his tray full of food on the ground and walked out!

What on earth?  Happy Thanksgiving?

Well anyway, we had reservations at the Void!

Everyone but Chase and Olivia had done it before, and we were happy to do it again.

I love the Void.

Then it was time for Thanksgiving dinner! We were eating at Trails End!

We walked to the bus stop.

On the bus!

We’re here!

This was a mix of their normal buffet and a Thanksgiving dinner. It was yummy!

The perfect Thanksgiving dessert!

After stuffing ourselves, we headed to the boats to Magic Kingdom. Just to catch a bus, not go to in the park!

While waiting, we discovered how amazing the camera on Dad’s new iPhone was.

And now I need to upgrade my phone.

We decided to entertain ourselves by playing Look Up, Look Down! If you have read this trip report, you may remember that game was the birthplace of “Dang it, Joan!” Memories.

The people behind us were watching us and asked me the rules. I told them and asked if they wanted to join in. The mom wanted to, but the dad was like, “Uh no. That is soooooo awkward.” Lol

See how entertained we are?

Finally a boat came, and we made it to the bus stop at Magic Kingdom!

Chase clearly broke out his purchase from the NBA Experience.

This was Colby’s purchase, which his family was teasing him mercilessly about how obnoxious it was. I was a fan. Go big or go home.

At some point, Olivia said something about how we didn’t ride Change of Perception at Magic Kingdom.

Um.

Carousel of Progress?

Lol. Poor girl.  She got some teasing for that one.

You can’t get away with any mistakes in this family.

When we got back, I took a few pictures of the lobby, and we eventually made our way to bed. Super super early day tomorrow!
