Day 6 – Spoilt and Ruint

Today we were all flying home!  But we had big plans first!

When we decided to go at Thanksgiving, we talked about how busy it would be and that it would be hard to do a lot.  I mentioned a VIP tour, but it was a crazy price over Thanksgiving week.

Dad and Mom bought their plane tickets home early, and it was much cheaper for them to fly out Monday.  Bonnie and Brian were flying out early Sunday.  I price all of our tickets, and our tickets were much cheaper if we flew out Sunday night.

I realized we could actually go to a park that day.  And a VIP tour may be cheaper!  And it was!  So I pitched it to everyone.  Bonnie had to move her flight, but it was the same price later that night.  Really really later.  She wasn’t excited about being so tired when they got home, but Brian said they would be VIP Tour tired, so it was worth it!

I had done a VIP tour once before and I knew everyone was going to love it.

Chase asked if we would ever going to be able to go back to Disney without one, or would we be “spoilt” forever?  I said definitely spoiled forever.

So worth it.

We dropped off our bags at the airline check-in that morning, and met the guides outside with two suburbans!

One of them was the same guide I had last time!  Julia!  She’s awesome!  They both were!

Our goal was to hit some big rides, and then end with whatever we had time for in Magic Kingdom.

We drove to Animal Kingdom first!

When you are with a VIP guide, they take you in a backstage entrance closest to the ride.  The only two things we wanted to do in Animal Kingdom were Navi (because not everyone had done it), and Flight of Passage.  So we entered right by Pandora!

We walked right on Navi.

We had our own two boats!

Julia took all of our Magic Bands to scan our tickets while we rode. No waiting in long lines for us! After that we walked on Flight of Passage.

Julia was in front of Chase. He asked if he needed to scan his band at the Fastpass entrance and she said, “Nope!”

He looked at me and said, “I’m already ruint, Momma!”

There’s no going back.

We waited in a little backstage hallway for our turn to ride, and then walked up to the front.

Our guides were great fun to talk to. They had all kinds of fun facts and trivia for us. I’m sure they don’t want me repeating all of it here in public, so I’ll just leave it at that!

When we got off, we stopped for a picture!

Then we were off to the Studios! One nice thing about having cars waiting for us, was the ability to leave our bags or other things in the cars whenever we wanted! It was so convenient!

When we arrived backstage, they were waiting for us with a basket of snacks and waters. So spoilt.

Our first stop was Smuggler’s Run. Because we could.

The guides asked us if we all wanted to be pilots. If so, they would put us in all different pods so we could. Only six of us cared, so we split up into three pods.

We all loved it again.

Afterwards we went to get a picture made, and I asked Julia and Michael to take a picture with SD-14. They obliged and were so excited when I told them that Joe Rhode had held him for a picture before!

We decided to do Toy Story while we were there, and our guides gave us all kinds of tips to max our scores. Everyone loved that!

Even though they still smoked us.

Next we walked to Tower of Terror and Rock ‘N Roller Coaster. VIP guides take you in backstage entrances for both of those, so you don’t wait in line for either one. We did both in less than 20 minutes including ride time.

Just eight of us on the coaster!

Then Tower!

Then it was back to the cars parked right there and we drove to Magic Kingdom!

When we arrived, they were waiting with more snacks! Woot!

We mobile ordered lunch from Columbia Harbor House while we were in the car, and went there first. Julia and Michael saved us seats while we picked up our food.

We ate and then were off to Mine Train!

After that we walked to Haunted Mansion and went through a backstage entrance. I told my car to look scared!

Bonnie was still not prepared. Lol

Next we went to Space Mountain. Some of us rode Space and others rode the People Mover.

Lol at Michael!

Then we took a snack break!

Double fisting.

I’m not sure when Ellie and Julia took this!

We debated what we should do with our last few minutes, and we decided to ride Buzz again!

Twice without getting off!

Julia and Michael helped with shooting tips too of course!

One time we got stuck in the first room, and Brian’s gun was perfectly positioned to reach the 100k point target in the next room. He maxed it out before we even left the first room. He’s proud.

We ended our day with a group picture with Michael and Julia! They were like family at that point.

We all piled back in the cars for a ride back to Animal Kingdom Lodge. We got pins!

We hugged Julia and Michael goodbye, and went and sat for about an hour until our Magical Express bus.

We got back home super late that night, but it was totally worth it! We had a wonderful trip and loved our time together!
