Day 8 – Amsterdam Tour

This morning we were still sailing when we woke up!

SD-14 popped out to see the sights.

Here’s the Daily Cruiser!

We ate lunch and made it to Amsterdam at 1:30 where we would stay until we disembarked the next day. We had a Jordaan district walking tour scheduled today.

I love the canals!

After our tour, we did the only excursion/activity we booked on our own, a tour of Anne Frank’s house. I had been as a child, and was looking forward to going back as an adult! It’s right across the canal.

Matt’s dad held the paddle of power for a minute.

The Anne Frank house was sobering and well done. It was hard, but we were all glad we did it.

It was nice and sunny when we came out! We all started making our way back to the ship.

We stopped for a selfie!

And grabbed a red velvet snack:

When we got close to our ship, we saw a Holland America ship leaving. I knew the Magic was going to be in Amsterdam tomorrow, and I wondered if it would sail by us?!! I was so excited!

Our last dinner onboard was tonight! It was good as always!
