Day 7 – Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Late Thanksgiving Day 2013!

We had an extremely rough night at sea the night before, so none of us slept too well. But we had the best possible start to our morning, so no complaints here!

Us Whiting’s are some pretty die-hard Jack Jack’s Diaper Dash fans. There’s nothing better than watching a few babies battle it out on the race track. If you have a small infant and are going on a cruise, do the world a favor and go sign them up immediately!

Our next stop was O’Gills for a variety show.

Somehow the adults ended up at Palo, again! Like seriously, how many times can a group of people avoid their children for a great meal in one vacation?? When is enough, enough?

When they were done, they picked up us kiddos and we headed out to do some trivia games.

We played Disney Trivia, and got 75 out of 100 questions correct. Stephen is apparently shocked by one answer.

Next we went to watch some Chip it Golf! Chase and Uncle Brian signed up to play. I don’t think either of them did too well, but a valiant effort nonetheless.

That night was Semi-formal night, and Thanksgiving Dinner! We stopped to take some pictures.

Thanksgiving Dinner had 8 different entrees to choose from. The turkey was by far the best, but unfortunately the ham wasn’t too great.

After dinner, we found Thanksgiving Mickey!

Earlier that day, there was an announcement that we would have to pull into the Miami port that night because of a medical emergency. We all went to the top deck to watch the ship pull in, and saw the person being stretched off. They waved up at the watching crowds, so we think they must have been doing okay!

We took pictures and relished the cell phone service.

Tomorrow is Castaway Cay day!
