Day 5 – Universal, Disney Springs, and Len Testa

Stephen left at o’dark 30 and I slept in!

I worked, packed and then ate lunch at Captain Cooks.

Then I took a Lyft to the car care center (about 1.5 miles from the Poly, lol) and picked up my rental car.

I headed over to Universal and got a text on the way that Cameron was already there!

He was waiting in the lobby and we went to pick up his ticket.

We were staying at Royal Pacific tonight!

Royal Pacific has a very nice tropical feel.

Cameron hadn’t eaten, so we headed for CityWalk. We walked by the pool:

It’s a pretty walk to CityWalk!

We had plans to eat at Toothsome tomorrow!

We went up to the little food court.

Cameron ate lunch and I went to get a Coke Zero.

Which they gave me free for some reason! Woot! Like a Magical Moment!

At some point we got a text from Missy. Heather, Heather and Missy were on their way!

We walked back.

Our rooms were ready!

Heather and Missy were on a Disney Springs mission, so we didn’t stay long at Universal. We hopped into the car and were off!

We went right to Blaze. We had dinner plans, so I split a pizza with Heather J, but I should not have! It was yummy, but I was stuffed!

Amanda met us at Blaze. The gang was growing!

We walked down to the Co-op next to see what they had. They didn’t have what we were looking for so we walked back to the car.

We wouldn’t all fit on the way home, so we ordered a Lyft for Missy and I. The driver had a hard time finding us. While we walked down to a new place to meet him, my shoe rubbed off a big ole piece of skin on the back of my foot. I mean, no warning! It just went! Rookie mistake. I had those exact shoes already, but they were looking grungy so I ordered a new pair. And didn’t break them in.

Whoops!

I walked on the heel of my shoe the rest of the way. When we got back, we freshened up for dinner. We were meeting Len Testa and Laurel Stewart at Jake’s for dinner! We walked over (about 20 feet from our room) and they were waiting.

When we sat down, we were all regretting Blaze a few hours before! Especially when Len ordered one of every single thing on the menu!!!

Literally.

We tried as much as we could but cried uncle at some point! Len and Laurel are always so much fun to talk to, everyone had a great time getting to know them. After a couple of hours, we finally said goodbye.

Amanda was super excited to meet Len and asked for a picture when we left. I love this picture!

Then it was bedtime! We had an early morning at Universal the next day!
