Day 10 – Universal!

 

I had one more night here with Jenell at Universal! She hadn’t been in a while, and I wanted to try Portofino Bay.

We took a Lyft over and checked in.

This hotel was super cute!

Our room!

Pool!

We stopped in the concierge lounge for breakfast.

Then we started towards the parks.

We took the boat!

And then we were in and walking towards Diagon Alley.

About that time, Cameron texted some parting words via text that everyone found quite amusing.

Almost there!

We came in and got in position to watch the dragon breathe fire.

And he didn’t! So rude.

We rode Gringotts and then went through Olivander’s.

Then we caught Hogwarts Express:

Lunch time!

You can never have too many pictures of Hogwarts.

It was sweltering out, so we walked back to the room after that.

Jenell asked nicely if we could see a Minion room and they had some open! Yay!

They were beyond adorable.

The other suite didn’t have bunks. See, it looks like a normal room:

But you go through this door, and voila!

We stopped to see the pool too.

After a break in the room, we walked back to the parks. We walked this time.

We walked by Hard Rock.

We rode E.T.!

Back to Diagon Alley!

Where the dragon was working again!

Then we went for dinner at Emeril’s.

It was super yummy! Then it was back to the hotel!

Then it was time for bed! And that was the end to a great, great trip!
