Day 2 – Epcot

We were starting off the day at Akershus with Buddha and Misty!

We took the monorail over.

Side note – I appreciate the way they pulled out the bag check lines to save you time in some places, but it’s a pain in the neck when you are going in some places! We had to go through at the TTC and then again at Epcot. Going through twice to go in one park is a pain.

We had to wait for the runners in a few places! I was watching for running friends, but I knew they would have probably been through sooner.

The way they had people crossing was awfully smart. The runners never had to slow down!

It took Misty and Buddha a little longer so we watched the runners and waited.

Breakfast time! Hello, Jasmine!

Don’t you like how Stephen and Buddha coordinated with the princesses?

Hi, Aurora!

That was delicious! Although I think all breakfast places at Disney should offer Mickey waffles.

Buddha and Misty hopped in line for Frozen right after breakfast, so we said see you later! World Showcase was about to open!

We took a lap around.

We had Fastpasses at Soarin. I have very strong feelings about the new Soarin, but I will keep them to myself since I know some people love it.

I got popcorn!

Then we went back to the room for a break:

We took a quick nap and then went to the pool!

Tonight, we were meeting Buddha and Misty at Homecoming.

Feast your eyes!

Seriously, Homecoming is my favorite restaurant at Disney. I love it so much!

Then we shopped a little! Super cute Dooney!

I also got a cupcake!

We went to watch fireworks from the resort when we got back. When we walked outside, I realized I really really wanted a Dole Whip!  It was way to dark for a phone picture, but I am confident you will want to see the picture anyway.

The cupcake would keep! I didn’t bring a tripod or anything, but you get the idea.

The guys definitely were matching with the princesses whole aesthetic! … and Jared and I have thoughts about Soarin’ Around the World as well..The original is SO MUCH BETTER. . I think at DCA, it should be Soarin’ Over California, 100%. At the Land, I can see why they chose Around the World, but I still think they should be rotated. Either different theaters show the different versions, or it is rotated every 3 months.

Yes!! These are my thoughts. Statute of limitations, I can say it now! I HATE the CGI! Those scenes are gorgeous enough! They didn’t need to add things like fake bears! I am definitely for keeping the original in California full time!
