Day 4 – Touring Nearby Resorts

Today we were sleeping in!  But somehow, I woke up at 7.

We woke up to the news that the U.S. was going to require Covid testing for re-entry, so there was a lot to talk about!  We agreed, if we couldn’t make it home for a little while, we would suffer through…

We wanted to try breakfast at the buffet today.  Just to see the process.

We walked over towards Giuseppe’s.

We passed the waterpark:

There is the French restaurant!

Show setup.  Notice the socially distanced chairs.

Giuseppe’s was feeling closed…

And it was! Because of the low crowds, the restaurants were alternating being open. So we went to Reflections instead.  Pivot!!  It’s the word of 2020!

The buffet was set up, but you didn’t get your own. They had servers for everything. It worked well!

Mine was quite yummy!

After breakfast, we met our ride out front. We were going to tour a few more resorts on the island today!

We started at West Bay Club.

Current fitness center policies:

This resort is super reasonably priced!

It’s very pretty!

Here’s one of the 2-bedrooms:

Gorgeous view!

This bathroom!

I really liked it! It’s not all inclusive, but as I mentioned, very reasonably priced!

Next, we went to Point Grace.

This was a super cute 1-bedroom:

Then we went to a 2-bedroom:

Great view from this one!

Here’s the beach. They said it’s usually this quiet!

We ended at Grace Bay Club. Here’s the lobby:

We started in a 1-bedroom that could be made into a 2-bedroom.

There’s one of the pools!

Great view:

Then we walked over to the other side.

We stopped by the beach:

That was a crazzzy long bar in the adult only section:

This is the adult only section. It’s so popular it was completely full! So we couldn’t see any rooms:

The pool over here is beautiful too.

Our last room was a 4-bedroom villa. Oh my heck. It was incredible!

I would be happy sleeping out here:

It’s just gorgeous!

After that, they treated us to lunch in a beautiful beach side restaurant. We thanked them for lunch and the tours and went back to Beaches after that.

We walked out to see the beach first!

Still beautiful. Then we went right to the pool! New pool for us!

We met several people at the swim up bar. It’s always fun to talk to people from all over.

The bartender here was a character! His name was Wentworth and he was great! He was very sad that I was the only one there for a while.  Maybe also sad because he was only making me mocktails?  Ha!

Once when he disappeared inside, four people swam up.  When he came back, I told him I found more people!  He was so happy.  He needed the people.

After we swam, we ended the afternoon in the hot tub. Then we went back to change for dinner.

We were eating at Sky, and hoping to see the sunset! But the restaurant didn’t open until 6 and sunset was closer to 5:30. Ack! Getting close!

We walked over and Audrey went upstairs to ask if we could go sit up there and wait. I told you she was the one brave enough to ask everything!

I waited downstairs and took pictures.

They didn’t mind! So we went up and claimed our seats!

That’s Neptune’s down there:

We were the only ones here!  Mostly because the restaurant wasn’t open yet…

The view on the other side:

And the sun – set. And it was beautiful!

We had an absolutely amazing meal here. It was our favorite! It was way too dark for pictures though!

We ended the night in the hot tub again. Last full day tomorrow!
