Day 2 – Resort Tour

Today we had a resort tour at 9!  We decided to go to breakfast at 8, so I woke up at 6:45.

Good morning, balcony!

We really didn’t spend enough time out there.

The pool was empty! Per normal, we soon realized.

We went to breakfast just a short walk away at Bayside.

Now anyone that knows me, knows I already had a Coke and Lorna Doones for breakfast. I never travel without them!

This was more like elevensies. At 8. Ha!

Sky was on the second floor, and we were eating there later in the week!

Most of the buffets were ala Carte due to Covid.

The view from our tables was wow.

Here’s mine!

After we finished, we walked out to go meet our group for the tour.

We walked to the lobby in Key West.

The first room was a one bedroom in the Key West Village.

The next room was a four bedroom! The four bedrooms have amazing beach views, and their own private pool. I love them!

Not to mention, a front yard!

We took turns going inside and we spread out.

I love these tubs!

This view from the balcony tho. Good heavens.

Here’s the kitchen that no one ever has any need of.

After that, we headed to the Italian Village.

Beaches Turks and Caicos is divided into five villages. They are all very distinct looking!

The pool in the Italian Village is huge! And beautiful.

The ocean is at the other end there.

We toured a room in the Italian Village. While we waited our turn to go in, I took this picture of the neighboring Caribbean and Seaside Villages.

This was an Italian Concierge Family Suite with Kids Room! See the cool bunks?

Tub!

Here was the view:

Then we went to some adorable rooms in the Seaside Village! This was a Seaside Honeymoon One Bedroom Concierge Villa:

Look at this tub!

I judge all rooms by their tub.  It’s true.

After that we walked over to see a sample wedding table they had set up!

That way were several shops and restaurants!

Then we went back to Seaside to tour another room. Here are the entrances:

I snapped some pics while waiting for my turn to go in:

This was a Seaside Two Bedroom Luxury Butler Villa Suite. This was one of my favorites for sure!

The Master:

The real reason this is my favorite:

The second room:

The bathroom:

The view! See the ocean?

Then we went to see an entry level room in the Caribbean Village! You can get two queens:

Or a king:

We walked back through the main lobby.

The main lobby has a check-in, the dietary needs office, a bar and a restaurant. This is the pool off the lobby:

And another pool in the Seaside Caribbean Village area:

You can see Arizona’s which is a restaurant behind this pool. They have a great outdoor buffet at lunch!

The ocean is on the left:

This was a billboard of the week’s activities:

Hello, gorgeous.

We passed a wedding setup!

We popped to see the Jerk Kitchen which wasn’t open. But it’s great, I’ve had it before at Beaches and at Sandals!

After that, our tour was done!

Audrey and I went to lunch at Bella Napoli with our friend Neal. We were starving!

I loved my calzone!

After lunch we went back to the room to rest and get caught up on email for a little.

While we were there, our doorbell rang. And who was it? A Coke Zero delivery!!! Woohoo!!

After our rest, we left to start on our mission of trying every single pool and hot tub. We had to get to work!

We went towards the French Village pool. We stopped for snacks at Café de Paris along the way!

We sat and ate.

Giuseppe’s was right next door!

Then it was off to the pool.

This pool is also ginormous! We were literally the only ones in it for about an hour, and the rest of the time there were only one or two people in it.

After swimming and hot tubbing, we walked over to the water park for a little while!

Here’s the swim-up bar for kiddies who want mocktails! Or me!

We took a spin around the lazy river and then went to shower for dinner! I’ll post more pictures of the water park later in the week!

Dinner was at the French restaurant – Le Petit Chateau. I didn’t take my camera! But I have some phone food pictures. French Onion soup!

Chicken Cordon Bleau:

Chocolate soufflé!

Everything was yummy, the chocolate soufflé in particular was delicious.

We decided to end the night in the hot tub at the Italian Village! It was the perfect way to end the night!

But we didn’t make it to bed until around midnight. Oy.
