Day 3 – Nassau and the Queen’s Staircase

 

Good morning, Nassau!

We’re coming in!

We had originally thought about going to a nearby resort and getting a day pass to use the pools and beach, but it was cold!! So we decided to shop and walk to the Queen’s Staircase.

But first – breakfast! There was a Princess Palooza happening.

Mom paused to look all modelly:

And we’re off!

We passed this super cool tree:

Aren’t they so cute?

Misty is like a teenager. Always climbing things to make her friends/parents nervous…

Made it to the fort up top!

And back down again! We decided The Pneumonia should pose in front of the hospital and be happy she wasn’t in the hospital, and she went all Karate Kid on us:

We shopped down the street and then made our way to the straw market:

Mom and Bonnie finished first.

Back to the ship!

Have to!

We decided on lunch in Cabanas.

Then we decided to relax in the “sun”.

After a while we decided we wanted to play a game! The Pneumonia brought cards, so we found a quiet place in Pink.

I am not sure what The Pneumonia thought she was doing back there.

Who would have thought it would be so much fun to play cards on a cruise?

After a while, we went to change for dinner. My Castaway Club gift was there! Yum!

Dinner tonight? Palo!!! Woot woot!

Here the ladies were introduced to the brilliance that is – iced tea cubes.

I can’t remember our servers name for the life of me, but he was excellent.

Appetizers!

This does not make sense to me. Who wants tomatoes and cheese? Why is that food?

This was the first time I have ever been offered a non-alcoholic version of the after dinner shot! I was so excited!!

During dinner I texted Heather some pictures to post on social media. This was her response:

We went right back to the room after that amazing meal. Some of us had an early morning appointment with the Castaway Cay 5k!!
