Day 2 (Part Two) – There May Have Been Tears

When we got back, we headed to lunch.  What?  We already had lunch?  Three meals a day rules don’t apply in space.

After lunch, we went back to the room. We explored the menu on our giant datapad on the wall that was definitely not a TV.

Then we explored, and worked on some more missions. Gautam and Kevin were in a Sabacc tournament.

When I wasn’t sure what to do, I went to sit in the atrium. I apply that same rule to cruising. When you aren’t sure what to do, go to the atrium and see what’s happening! Because something usually is.

I had never noticed this water dispenser until then!

The bridge was empty.

I was pleasantly surprised at how often I found an empty bridge. I was afraid I would only be able to take pictures late at night, or early in the morning, but that was not the case!

In case you are wondering what the restrooms look like on a starship –

Then things were happening! Without being too specific, we tricked the stormtroopers and got SK unbolted!

The cruise director was checking on us, making sure everyone was happy.

At some point, Mukta went to buy some secret merchandise. The code words and steps that were taken to get this merchandise were hilarious! It was so well done!

I bought a notebook.

This is how your receipt comes. So fancy!

Stormtroopers were still out.

We went back to the room to drop things off and change for dinner. We had our luggage tags and disembarkation instructions!

Lightspeed!

We were in an asteroid field!

While we were there, the captain came on the speaker and told us we were surrounded by Tie fighters!

I looked out our window and said, “I don’t see any Tie Fighters!” And five seconds later – Tie Fighters shot by.

Oh.

Well done!

Back out to the atrium where things were happening! It was a busy place tonight.

There was a Match Your Mate type game happening too!

I love her.

There were new activities populating for me!

I had a Coke Zero.

Gaya was there too!

While we were in the atrium, Kevin came and told us that Gautam made it to the finals of the Sabacc tournament!

He got second place! Woot woot!

Back out in the atrium.

There were snacks!

Look at these cute cookies!

Then it was time for dinner!

There was Coke Zero waiting for me!

That was so great! Just like an ocean cruise! Again!

This was Mukta’s:

Tonight was blue shrimp night!

And steak:

And fish:

Everything except dessert was family style, and we could get more of anything!

The first Order interrupted our dinner, and took over!

There were some changes when we got back out! First Order everywhere!

Gaya was trying to keep the guests calm.

Look how pretty Mukta looked! It was formal night!

I had on a traditional Earth formal, but with a Padme cape!

Then Mukta and I had a top secret meeting with the Saja!

When we arrived, we all hid in the climate simulator to make sure everything was safe.

When we got inside, Rey was there!!!

They had a very special artifact…

VERY special!! Serious spoilers ahead!

Also, talking holograms are very hard to take pictures of.

Mukta couldn’t have taken pictures, she was too busy crying. Ha!

Yep. There were some tears.

That was amazing!!

But then our help was needed on the bridge!

The captain knew we could handle this. We had literally trained for this!

We worked hard and we tried! Too hard to take pictures during!

One quick phone pic:

But then – Dun dun dun (No idea how you would spell that)!!

Red alert everywhere!

We went to out to the atrium to see what was going to happen!

Ack! Kylo Ren!

They were wreaking havoc on the ship!

Rey and Kylo battled, and this lightsaber battle was absolutely amazing.

Here’s a tiny video:

So as not to spoil too much, yada yada yada, the good guys won! Woot woot!

The finale was very personal. They called out individuals for their heroic tasks, assured us that even those working with the first order had good inside them, and we all celebrated with a fireworks show!

Everyone was happy.

Then we made our way to the buffet for a dessert celebration! Because we needed more food.

We ended the night in the Sublight Lounge, one of our favorite places.

Then it was bedtime! I was so so tired. But the atrium was quiet!

So I took a few pictures first!

Our last morning, coming up next!
