Day 1 – Good Evening, Seattle!
And we were off to Seattle! Stephen had to drop us off during his lunch hour, so we got to the airport soooo early.
The flight before ours was getting close to boarding when they announced over the loudspeaker that the plane coming in had blown a tire!! The whole room gasped.
And then groaned when he told them that they had to wait for a new tire, and tires take 2-2 1/2 HOURS to change.
We were watching for a riot. Lol
But we boarded our flight just fine, and we were off!
We had an hour in Denver and then two hours until Seattle.
When we were getting close, I happened to glance out the window, and whoa. Mt. Ranier was right there! Like we flew on two sides of it, and it was massive! I only had my phone, and could not get a good perspective on how big it was, but here it is!
It’s beautiful!
We were staying at the Renaissance downtown, and it was great. I have been to Seattle before, but not for long, and I love Seattle! It’s so green and hilly, with a great downtown area.
We realized we were hungry after we checked in, so we dropped off our bags and went down to the restaurant. I loved this glass my Coke came in. I need to find these!
We had clam chowder, fries, and a chocolate dessert. All at once!
It was an eclectic meal.
Then it was bedtime! Boarding day tomorrow! Woohoo!
