Day 2 – A Sea Day for More Pictures

We woke up fairly early today!  This was a short cruise, there was no time to sleep!  We had a sea day today, which was perfect!

We went to breakfast in 1923!

1923 has an absolutely amazing collection of Disney memorabilia. You could spend hours looking at everything in there. They also have cute salt and pepper shakers!

Then it was time for some room tours! This was a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom:

Tiana headboard!

I also like how the carpet was different on different floors.

Next up was a Standard Inside Room –

Then a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah:

Then a Concierge 1-Bedroom Suite with Verandah:

I love this bathroom!

Then the Concierge 2-Story Royal Suite with Verandah! Also known as the Princess Aurora Suite.

I mean…

This is amazing!

Upstairs –

I could die happy here.

Wowsers! That sums it up!

Next up was the Tower Suite! Seeing as I had this booked a couple months later, I was super excited to see it!

I love this!

This was the library:

One of the primary rooms –

Tub!

The second primary room –

Well, that was fun! It was so great to see all those rooms!

Then we were off to see the Incredicourse in Hero Zone.

How fun!

We went to go see the kid’s clubs next. This is the entrance. A SLIDE!! Brilliant.

The Marvel section was very cool!

The Star Wars section was closed off, but this is the outer mural:

Then it was time for lunch! Back in 1923!

And dessert:

After we ate, we went up to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!

We swung by the laundry room next. I don’t want to overstate this, but the laundry room blew us away!

We were all concerned when we heard there was only one, but this was huge! And perfect!

I had a meeting next, so I said goodbye to everyone else and went there. Punch!

We had a great lineup of guests to come!

Stacia Martin has been a Disney animator for over 40 years. She was one of our special guests!

Next up – Xochiti Gomez from Dr. Strange Multiverse of Madness!

Then Bill Farmer! The voice of Goofy!

Just closer your eyes and listen:

And then – Jody Benson, the Little Mermaid herself!

That was great fun! And it was great to see it with friends!

Then it was back to the room to change for dinner! And a Cloudem toast!

Dinner was in Arendelle tonight!

Here are the scallops!

My appetizer:

Hi Anna and Kristoff!

I had meatballs:

This was someone’s:

That show was great! At some point we realized we were sitting near all the celebs. It was so fun to see how excited Jody Benson was! And watch Xochiti get into it!

Speaking of Xochiti, she was at the table next to us and took a picture with us after!

It’s pirate night!

Then it was back to the Bayou. We spent a lot of time here!

Tonight we were here for beignets!

Mission accomplished.

After the beignets, we went to Nightingale’s.

Missy got the Nightingale!

I had Cloudem!

Missy also had this, which was so cool:

She was worried about breaking the bubble before I took pictures! Ha!

Success!

Then it was back out to the Grand Hall! Still not empty.

I tried to get no people pictures!

We found out that 1923 was open all night! Pictures!

On our way back to the room, we noticed this elevator in the middle of the hall and couldn’t figure it out! Turns out, it was for the funnel suite guests to use. That way you could leave the funnel and not have to go outside if you didn’t want to.

I had a cool gift on the bed!

More to come tomorrow!
