Day 1 (Part 2) – Maybe There Were Too Many Pictures

Continuing our tour, here’s Edge –

Here’s Worlds of Marvel. Our dining room for that evening!

This is the salon, which is called Untangled! How cute is that?

In addition to the Walt Disney Theatre, there are two small cinemas!

They were super cute inside.

The Spa was beautiful, as you would expect!

The best chairs ever.

The ice room!

The outdoor portion of the Rainforest Room was so pretty!

Here’s the fitness center:

This is Triton, which is used for some presentations, trivia, and karaoke.

Next, we went down to see Oceaneers. Like Vibe, it could also be closed off by sections for other activities. The murals outside hinted at what was inside each space, and were so cool!

This was outside the Marvel section:

And this is outside the cruise play area:

After an afternoon of exploring, it was time to get ready for dinner! Tonight we were eating in Marvel,

Love these plates:

Red bread!

Menu:

I love Antman. He just cracks me up!

Various Marvel clips played during dinner when the actual show wasn’t happening.

I had chicken schnitzel which was delicious!

Someone had steak:

Cheesecake!

Chocolate dessert –

Donuts on ice cream! Yes. Please.

I think the theming was great in here!

Show!

Look who stopped by!

It was still light outside after dinner!

The concierge carpet:

It was a beautiful evening! Also, you can see stateroom 14000 in the funnel! I stayed there a couple of months later, and it was spectacular. Trip report to come!

\

This, ladies and gentlemen, is the Chip and Dale pool. No offense to the chipmunks, that’s a HORRIBLE name. But I digress.

We found the Chip and Dale pool to be pretty quiet most of the time. It’s a great place to spend time!

You could see down into the concierge sundeck from here:

Then we went to the opposite side of the ship to see the adult pool area. I will echo what you’ve probably heard by now. It’s way too small, but it is beautiful!

Missy and I went to a meetup afterward in Keg and Compass.

I was hoping for an empty Grand Hall afterward for pictures, but that was not to be!

There are lots of coffee shops around, which is great!

We stopped in The Bayou. Missy is obsessed with how they will clean the ceiling in here…

Emptier? Still not empty.

Towel animal!

We have a sea day tomorrow!
