Day 1 (Part 1) – There is No Such Thing as Too Many Pictures

Today was the day!  I was finally boarding the Wish!  I had been waiting on a new Disney ship for approximately 1000 years, so this was a big day!

Here’s my invite to the event:

There was a super cool lantern inside!

We spent the night at Coronado Springs the night before.

I picked up my credentials the day before as well:

It is time…

We went to breakfast at El Mercado de Coronado. The transfer buses were leaving pretty late, so we decided to hop in my car and drive! We weren’t sure it would work, we thought they may hold us until the buses arrived. But no! We beat the busses by so much! We were so glad we decided to drive! #ilikebeingfirst

We even had time to stop for a picture on the bridge!

And I had time to finally get out my camera for the first time!

I love this!

Look how beautiful she is!

We took a couple of pictures and then it was time to board!

I only had my phone out when we got on! Here’s a video!

Then we went to explore. Here’s The Bayou. It’s just beautiful!

We stopped in to see Hyperspace Lounge before it got crowded.

Then we were off to our stateroom!

Even the elevator banks were new and exciting!

Elevator selfie!

Look at his cute little carpet Mickey!

Here’s our room!

Video!

Look what Heather, Missy, and Misty got me! Cloudem! My favorite drink! It’s non-alcoholic and impossible to find to buy!

The headboards are different based on which floor you are on! I love that!

Allll the rooms have robes. Which makes me so happy!

We were on the bumpout!

There’s lots of space under the bed! 😊

The fridge is a drawer!

And I got some swag!

Here’s the unboxing:

Here it all is:

We finally tore ourselves away from the room and headed to Marceline for lunch!

Lots of handwashing stations!

Lunch for me!

We were right next to Oasis of the Seas!

I had this cute little dessert.

The front of Marceline had a nice coffee shop/bar and seating area. I have since been to a few different receptions there as well. It’s a great space!

Then we went to explore.

We went in Vibe first!

Which was amazing!

This space can be shut off from the rest of Vibe and used for something else, which is really smart!

Next we went in Hero Zone. This is an excellent space!

It was currently set up for basketball, but it’s used for lots of different things during the cruise.

There’s an overlook above the court, which has some games, and is great to watch events on the court.

Next we went to go see Palo Steakhouse and Enchante. The Rose is a lounge outside the two of them.

This is also a beautiful space!

The roses onboard were all real and gorgeous! Most were hand-painted!

Palo! Palo Steakhouse has a new menu on the Wish. With lots of added – steak! My favorite.

I don’t drink, but I love these champagne bottles!

The private room is so pretty!

Then we went in Enchante! Which has a beautiful entry!

And chandelier!

I love this little nook! I got to eat there on the next cruise!

Here’s the private room:

Then we were out on deck!

The Wish has lots of family pools! I love how they are broken up!

I also love how the pool deck is staggered onto different levels. It’s great for shows!

Then we went back inside to explore.

This is Luna! It’s one of the best spaces onboard in my opinion. It’s a nightclub, entertainment area, etc. etc. A lot happens in Luna!

Back in the Grand Hall (as the atrium is now called)!

Then we went to Arendelle, one of the main dining rooms.

This hall was   A. Dor. Able.

The stage for the show is in the center of the room!

Then we were off again. There was so much to see! I’ll continue more tomorrow!
