Day 5 – Christmas at Aulani
It was Christmas! Santa did bring some stockings for the kids. Santa can find you no matter where you are!
Today we were doing the Pillbox hike!
We drove to the start.
Thank you, Hawaii!
The pillbox hike was described as an easy 20 minute hike up to some old military bunkers with panoramic views.
Well – spoiler alert – that first part was a lie! It wasn’t 20 minutes and it definitely wasn’t easy! It was like straight up!
The view part was correct, I am happy to report.
Hi children!
And we went back down!
Christmas day did not mean quiet!
We swung by the beach and then headed back to our own beach for a little while! We stopped to feed the Koi.
I got a Christmas Macaron at some point!
After showering later, we went down for sunset pictures!
Sunsets in Hawaii do not disappoint!
Ally used two pictures from today on her Instagram. They made me laugh so I will share. The titles are something like – Instagram Vacation Photo

Ha!
Whole fam!
Tonight we were having the Christmas buffet at Makahiki! I would love to say I have pictures of the amazing buffet, but I do not. It was so dark! But it was so so good. I do have a cute picture of my children though!
What a great Christmas that was!
