Day 2 – Eating and Waiting

We woke up to a gorgeous day!  Chase and Olivia were coming later!

We went downstairs and got chairs.

When we walked by the store today, they were handing out sugar cookies.  Score!

Which I apparently was incapable of taking a picture of on my phone.

We also got an Aulani button.

While we were sitting, some carolers came by! That’s so fun!

At some point, Len and Laurel texted to see if I wanted to tour a grand villa with them.

Uh… yeah.

I didn’t have my camera with me! Fail!

I took a couple of phone pics, but let me say, that room is amazing. AMAZING. The views were just spectacular. They take up the whole end of the buildings. Here’s a not great phone picture of the view.

You’ll have to trust me – SPECTACULAR.

While we were talking, Len said we should definitely book the character breakfast at Makahiki, so I called the next time we were in the room and booked it for later in the week.

We said goodbye and went back to the chairs. We ordered some food from the restaurant. Right from our chairs!

This was a non-alcoholic something:

We also got popcorn at some point.

And a Mickey bar.

We had a lot of food while we sat there. Lol Some more friends (Hi Malikah!) came by and we chatted for a while. Then I took them upstairs to see our two bedroom since they hadn’t seen one. And they gave us their leftover groceries. That was so nice!

Before too long it was time to go upstairs for real and get ready for Chase and Olivia’s arrival! Look at this view!

They texted that they were almost here so we went down to the lobby! Yay! It was so wonderful to have all of my kiddos here! Olivia had never seen Aulani before, so she was sufficiently blown away.

We took them downstairs and went exploring.

I loved the Christmas decorations so much!

Look at this adorable gingerbread sculpture!

This is my favorite spot on property!

We would get shave ice another day!

I love the infinity pool!

I mean, look at this place!

Hello, Ally!

My favorite children!

I love these people.

We walked across the street to eat dinner.   Sup, Stich?

Then we changed into our swimsuits and got in the adult hot tub! Here’s a horrible phone picture:

We passed Len and Laurel one last time by the pool and said goodbye, they were leaving tomorrow!

Goodnight, Aulani!
