Day 4 – Castaway Cay

I woke up at 6:30!  Much too excited to sleep!

The sky was awake!

Stephen ran and I took pictures. That’s how we roll.

Castaway Cay out your window. That’s what you like to see!

My breakfast!

Walking around!

And we’re off!

Or one of us is. Stephen forgot his ID! Rookie.

We were staying concierge, so you know we had a cabana! Stephen’s first time! We stopped and picked up our snorkel equipment on the way.

Why thank you!

We just relaxed for quite a while! Stephen fell asleep and I read in the hammock.

Later we tried to put our chairs in the water, but there was some serious erosion happening! There was quite the shelf in front of our cabana!

We floated for a while and then rode bikes. We were hungry when we got to Serenity Bay (and they have steak!) so we stopped there and ate.

We biked back, got ice cream and went back to the cabana.

I finished my book, we napped and relaxed.

Early afternoon, Scott and his wife came to see the cabana and he took some pictures. He hadn’t been able to stay in one yet, but has since then. When I saw him in April, he said the cabana was a “game changer” for him. I know, right?!!!!

After they said goodbye, we went snorkeling. We snorkeled for an hour or so. When we got back, I took off my mask and realized my lip felt very strange. I mean like strange/huge. I told Stephen my lip felt swollen. He was like, “Oh yeah, I saw it out there but I didn’t want to freak you out.”

Dude.

Oh my word, it was so swollen. I looked like botox gone very very wrong.

I quickly walked back to the cabana, with my hand over my lip! I think I took a picture, but no one needs to see that.

I must have had an allergic reaction to something! It lasted about 3 hours or so, before finally (thankfully) shrinking back to normal size.

The beach was empty, so right before we left, I took a few more pictures. Because the other 200 weren’t enough apparently.

We left paradise around 4.

Our Castaway Club gift was in our room!

The concierge reception was happening.

I took a screen shot of the awesome emoticons on the chat feature:

It was pirate night tonight! This is clearly not mine.

We had already decided not to eat dessert so we could try Vanellope’s! We stressed out our servers a little when we left.

We met up with our Virginia friend for karaoke later. My word, he killed it. We were dying. We had no idea he could sing like that!

The host loved him so much, he asked for an encore and gave him a hat!

Then it was bedtime! Very very late! He scared me a little.

Bedtime! Last day tomorrow!

I was wondering if you guys would get a cabana for just the two of you. Glad you enjoyed it! I didn’t know you could rent bikes on the island. That is pretty cool.

We did! Also, I have failed you, because bikes are included in the price of the cabana!
