Day 2 – Onboard Scramble

I was up early doing dining for someone, but let’s face it, I was too excited to sleep anyway!  Normally Stephen is up way before me, so this was a change!  I finally couldn’t stand it anymore and woke him up.  Thankfully he understood!

Putting on our bag tags!  Concierge, baby!

Goodbye, Boardwalk!

On our way!

We headed out and in no time, we could see her! But then we had to pass her and go to the rental car place! Boo.

We had great timing though. We pulled up just as a shuttle was filling up. We hopped on and they left! Woot!

We checked in and settled in the concierge lounge. I was tweeting for Touring Plans and talking to Scott from Disney Cruise Line Blog at the same time. His family was sailing as well!

Navigator!

We skipped the photo and ended up being the first people in line to board!! Ack!! I was going to be the first person on the new Disney Dream! I couldn’t even stand it.

Welcome to us!

We went up to the lounge and had a quick snack, then took off exploring! We would come back for our concierge meeting later.

Room!

The rest of the afternoon was a blur. We ran all over, looking for new things, tweeting and taking pictures. It was so fun!

Satellite Falls – now on the Dream!

Vanellope’s! I loved Vanellope’s!

Next up was Star Wars of course!! We ran into another friend in here.  It was fun seeing so many people I knew!

We walked over to the Disney Infinity area next! At this point, I had handed over my camera to Stephen while I took phone pics and tweeted. I forgot to change the settings from Star Wars, so these are wayyyy overexposed. They recovered fairly well in Photoshop, but oy.

The nightclubs had all been spruced up. 697 looked great!

Pink had a new entrance and seating!

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!

We finally stopped for a minute for a super quick lunch!

And a selfie!

No Coke Zero! Sad face.

We also ran into some friends of ours from Virginia who were sailing! This was the first of many times we ran into them. Up to Vibe!

They opened up the movie room. It was too closed off before and it led to some unauthorized activities from the teens, so they had to close it down most of the time:

We also stopped at Edge!

The wading pool is a great addition:

We walked through the concierge lounge, and Ashley asked if we had seen the new hot tub on the concierge sun deck. The what?!!! Yay!

And shade!

After I felt like we had covered the new offerings, we finally settled in the concierge lounge with Angeline and went over our plans for the week.

In our room we checked out On Demand. Jurassic World? Yes! I literally had this on every time I was in the room. We probably watched it three times.

I. Love. Jurassic Park anything.

Relaxing!

Next up was dinner! We were going to Animator’s Palate. The table next to us was empty until about 10 past, when who should walk in? Our friends from Virginia!

What on earth are the odds? Three restaurants, two seatings, and we end up right next to each other! It was fun!

Pasta truffles!

Dinner!

I got a birthday dessert! Two desserts!

After dinner we went to hear the violinist in Pink. She was great!

We finished the night with Taylor Mason – mostly the same show from September – and then Match your Mate which is always entertaining!

We didn’t get back to the room until midnight! Crazy people.
