Day 4 – Last Day!

Today I had to convince Stephen to Do Disney Differently and hit the pool before the parks!! Crazy! He wasn’t too disagreeable.  :)

The kids slept and we went down.

The pool was empty.

We were doing it differently, so after getting ready we walked away from the Disneyland entrance to the monorail. Well we hadn’t ridden it yet!

The monorails at Disneyland are sideways if you didn’t know!

We rode over the Esplanade:

Small World from the monorail!

We walked past Monstro today.

When we walked past Big Thunder Ranch we found Woody all alone!

We rode Big Thunder next.

Chase tried watching Weber.

The girls rode Splash. We stayed dry.

Then it was time for lunch! We all got food at different places and met to eat. Mine was amazing.

Chase’s Po Boy:

Stephen’s gumbo:

So one of my different goals was Mickey beignets! I have always been too full! I was still full but determined this time.

Oh my word. What have I been missing? These were my favorite snack the whole trip!

We rode the train next!

And stopped for Toontown! Roger Rabbit!

Then we forced Chase on Small World with some reference to Doing Disney Differently.

Then it was time for Mickey’s Magical Map!

After the show it was close to time to leave. In Los Angeles you need to be off the roads form 4 to 7 if you can. So we had to leave at 3 or 7:30! The girls had school the next day, so we were aiming for 3.

We decided to stop for Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln on the way out. That was definitely different!

Lincoln is truly amazing.

The perfect way to end a trip! We walked through the hotel and back to our car and we were off for our four hour drive home.

A great time was had by all. I miss being so close to you, Disneyland!
