Day 4 – Cabana Day!

 

Today I woke up at 7:15. It was Castaway Cay day!

Hello, my favorite port!

We went to the lounge for breakfast, then back to the room to get our stuff together.

An officer came and checked on us, to make sure that Kris slept better. That’s service!

We told the ladies we would meet in the atrium at 8:20 if anyone wanted to get off with us. I took some pictures while we waited.

Per normal, we rope dropped Castaway Cay at 8:30.

We decided to walk instead of take the tram, and we passed Mickey and Minnie!

We saw some LoL’s on that tram!

We had cabana 21 today! The double wide.

That beautiful beach was just waiting for us.

It turned out, only 13 cabanas were taken today! Crazy!

Can I take too many pictures of cabana beach?

I also took a video of the cabana!

Then we floated. Every one of those rafts was a LoL.

After an hour or so, I went to look for our Palo server who had told us he would get some cookies for us!

Sadly, I just missed him! So I went back. And floated.

Then it was lunch time! Woohoo!

After lunch, we floated. Notice a theme?

Later in the afternoon, we set up for our traditional chair photo!

There we are!

There’s a model up there!

Look! We are back to floating!

Then, sadly, it was time to go. But we would be back! The next day in fact!

I took a few more pictures. Because I clearly didn’t have enough.

Goodbye, sign!

We shopped a little on the way out.

We showered and got ready for pirate night when we got back! We decided tonight was the night for matching shirts!

This was Jess’s dinner. Respect.

Jess had the right dessert.

We went to trivia after dinner tonight! And won, I think. Let’s assume.

At some point, Jess got up left for a while. And made a fatal error. She left her camera.

One of the LoL’s said, “I wouldn’t touch someone’s camera, but it would be funny if we took pictures on it.” I was like, “I’ll touch her camera!!!” And we proceeded to take about 30 pictures on it.

All of us doing silly things! We were quite amused with ourselves.

Beth’s mom thought we were just taking silly pictures, until about halfway through she realized we had Jess’s camera. Then she laughed louder than I’ve ever heard, and couldn’t stop. It was hilarious!

Then it was almost time for fireworks, so we headed out! Pirates were out!

I wanted to see where the concierge viewing area was, so we watched from there.

They had signs marking the area.

Then we met the rest of the ladies for the pirate party!

See? Matching shirts!

We decided we needed pizza after that, and went down to eat!

Then it was bedtime! We had another day at Castaway coming up!
