Day 3 – The Studios and Victoria and Albert’s!

Today we were starting off at Hollywood Studios!

Hello, Tower of Terror!

There we are, back row dabbing!

I love this little Stitch:

This Toy Story Land preview was super cool!

We stopped to see Baby Groot next!

This is undoubtedly, the cutest meet and greet I have ever done. Ever.

We were clearly enthralled:

Then we took a super stretch limo!

We had lunch booked at the Hollywood Brown Derby!

Ah, the glorious promise of delicious food and air conditioning.

I am not a salad person, but I love this salad for some reason!

Someone else had the famous cake!

Here we are!

Photobomb!

After lunch, we had some more characters to meet! Sherry is so happy right now.

When we met Kylo Ren, he asked if we wanted to join the dark side. I said, “No!” at the exact same time Mukta said “Yes!!”

She caved so quickly, I was shocked! Although, in her defense, he was terrifying.

I had a pretzel at some point!

Mukta and I had big plans tonight. We were going to the granddaddy restaurant of them all – Victoria and Albert’s!

We had never been!

I am a super picky eater, and I knew most of the food would be lost on me, but it was still worth it for the experience. I knew I would enjoy it!

We drove Tracey’s car over, and took advantage of the included valet parking that comes with V&A’s. I was trying not to be too obnoxious, so most pictures are on my phone, but I got a few camera pics!

Personalized menus are my favorite:

We both had the cheapest option, the 7 course dinner.

Bread! That’s safe!

I can not tell you what most of this is! But I ate some of all of it!

Look how beautiful!

And what do you know, they had a chocolate souffle!

We also got to pick some chocolates to take with us! Brilliant.

We also got a rose. Very thoughtful!

I took a quick phone picture of my bill.

They bring it in a beautiful wood box. Perhaps to soften the blow?

As you may recall, this is the cheapest option. This was just mine. And there’s no alcohol on mine!

That. Is. Insane.

I have never paid so much for a meal for one.

So was it worth it? That’s always a hard question to answer. Is a meal ever worth more than $200? Probably not.

Was it an amazing experience? Absolutely, one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had.

Would I do it again? Absolutely! But I would only pay that much again if it was a big occasion. It was a bucket list item that I checked off, and I’m super glad I did!

Having said that, I really want to do the Chef’s table one day, so if anyone wants to join me, let’s do it!

We took a quick phone picture on the way out!

When we got back, we filled everyone in on the experience, and were off to bed.
