Day 3 – Royal Plantation Followed by Montego Bay!

Today we woke up, packed everything, and went on more tour!

This time we were going to Royal Plantation, which is right next to Ochi!

Royal Plantation is an all Butler level resort.  It’s much quieter than Ochi, and guests at Ochi can’t go back and forth, but guests at Royal Plantation can go to Ochi anytime they like!

It was just lovely here!

The walk down to the beach was not for anyone with mobility issues!

There was a great 3 bedroom room, that was secluded and large. It would be so much fun to stay there with friends!

It had its own pool!

Then we walked back to the main area.

We said goodbye to Ochi area and were off to our next stop, the Montego Bay area!

We started at Sandals Royal Caribbean! I was excited to see this one, because I was coming back there for my anniversary! In an Over the Water Bungalow! Ack!

Here’s that trip report!

And amazzzzing room video!

We’re here!

There were several swim-up suites here!

We caught a boat out to the private island!

I see the bungalows!

We tried to tour one, but they were all full!

One couple was leaving one and telling us how amazing it was. They wanted to show theirs to us, but that wasn’t kosher since it wasn’t show ready.

But we would see one later in the week!

We ate lunch, and then headed off to our resort for the next couple of nights – Montego Bay!

Montego Bay was recently redone, and it was amazing. This open-air lobby was – wow.

Montego Bay is right next to the airport. I mean RIGHT next to the airport. I probably could have thrown a softball from the door to my room and hit the runway.

I knew the plane noise was a factor there, but everyone said you get used to it, and don’t even notice it after the first few times.

When that first plane came over, I was stunned. It was sooo loud.

I thought, there is no way under heaven we will get used to that. And then we did!

Seriously, after about an hour, I barely noticed them.  You have to stop talking for a few seconds, and then it’s gone! It’s also not like the airport does the volume of JFK. Flights usually start around 8 and end in the afternoon. Not a big deal at all!

Here’s my room!

Can you even with this bathtub?

I was in a Beachfront Grand Luxe Club Level Room!

Here’s a video!

I loved my room! I also loved, loved this resort.

We met up for a fun dinner, and then later for a White party with a chocolate buffet! Brilliant!
