Day 3 – I Missed You, Castaway Cay!
Breakfast delivery woke us up today!
Good morning, ocean!
We tried to get in the virtual queue to disembark, but it was having lots of errors. I called to make sure it wasn’t just us, and it wasn’t!
When it came back, we were in a low group. It must have actually worked!
There it is! That’s the view we want to see!
We’re off!
We took the tram to Serenity Bay where we were sharing a cabana with some others.
We drove past Chip and Dale!
We got off at the transfer stop and waited a few minutes for the next one.
It’s here!
We were the first ones here!
I’d been in the cabanas on serenity bay before, but it had been a while. I was super impressed!
The serenity bay cabanas are set back from the beach, so it actually gave them a nice feeling of privacy.
We were really the first ones here!
I took a whole, whole lot of pictures.

I got out in the water a little with my camera:
Then I put down the camera, and we go out in the water and floated! For a very very long time.
We met our cabana mates and talked to them until about lunch time. When we came back to the cabana, we couldn’t find our chairs. We had put our towels on two chairs so we would have them to sit in when we got out. Well someone just decided to move them!
It’s not like we were just saving random seats all day long, they were in front of our cabana, and we were in the water!
Debbie decided they must have wanted to meet some people and went and plopped right down next to them and started talking. It was hilarious to me!
Then lunch opened, and we rope dropped lunch!
I got a burger bun before I saw the barbeque, so I ended up with two! Whoops!
I had ice cream too.
At some point I realized none of my emails were loading. I had counted on being able to check in a couple of times that day, so I was getting desperate.
Apparently the cell tower had been struck by lightning! Well that explained it.
I took a tram back to the family beach where it was working a little better, and sat and worked for about 15 minutes.

Goodness the water was amazing.
We got back in, a giant stingray swam right by Debbie! She screamed! Ha!
After a little while, we go out and sat in the vacated chairs to dry off.
While we sat there, I saw a stingray again so I jumped up to go take his picture! I took about 30 of these while I followed him.
Look how peaceful!
Later a smaller stingray came by, so I got up again.
Then it was time to head back! Sadness. But we had another day at Castaway, so it wasn’t as bad!
We took the tram back to the main area and got off and walked and shopped.

It was a picture perfect day. Literally!

When we got back onboard, I went up top to take pictures!
Then I showered and we got ready for Palo!

After dinner we went to trivia.
Ranwick, our server from last night was so happy/relieved to see us!
After trivia, we headed to bed. We passed Goofy!
Then it was bedtime!
