Day 3 – Brunching

I woke up at 6:30 today!  Way too excited to sleep!

Kris was already out walking, so I went out to the verandah to soak it all in.  I sat there for about 30 minutes with the door open to the room. 

I thought I heard something behind me a couple of times, but every time I looked, I didn’t see anything. And then I heard a definite noise. I jumped up and turned around… It was Pete!!!

Pete the pigeon had camped out on our balcony since the rainstorm the day before!! My word! I couldn’t believe he didn’t go in the room when the door was open!

I ran inside and shut the door, lol.

What would Pete do at sea? I guess he could take care of himself!

Kris came back, said hi to Pete, and I got in the shower. Then I put on some shorts and went to find an iron. Our stateroom host saw me and asked what I needed. I said I was going to iron, and he asked if I wanted a steamer!

Um. Yes.

We shopped for a little while, and saw some of the other ladies. We also saw princesses!

And the main mice!

Who were on their way out.

Pluto replaced them.

There’s Belle!

Then we changed and headed off to brunch!

Back in the private room. I had Coke Zero, water (wasn’t touching that), and sparkling cider!

With no buffet, they bring out sample platters of food that’s normally on the buffet. Charcuterie!

And seafood:

I mostly want bread.

And chicken parm. My favorite!

Although I’m becoming a big fan of the lasagna too. I usually share that with someone as a side dish. Is that a thing?

Dessert!

After a delicious brunch, we went back to the room to change.

 Look at how beautiful it was!

I decided to take a quick video of the lounge and sundeck since it was empty!

Then we went to see the afternoon showing of Beauty and the Beast. I love that show so much.

We met in 687 for some trivia before dinner, which we won! Natch.

Dinner tonight was in Animator’s Palate.

I started with my standard app.

Don’t judge me.

And I had pasta!

And ice cream.

After dinner, we shopped. We started to notice everyone was buying the same shirt! We were going to all match at some point!

Then we all went up top and sat and talked.

After chatting, Kris and I went to see Jungle Cruise which I enjoyed! I love the Rock and Emily Blunt, so I figured it would be good.

The night before, Kris decided the main bed was a little too soft. So she asked the stateroom host to make up the murphy bed for her. And he did!  He was very concerned when she said she didn’t sleep that well.

Then we went to bed!

We heard the next day that the Ladies of Leisure were kicked out of a bar!!

Okay, they closed the bar between events to sanitize, but those are unnecessary details. Let’s stick to – the Ladies of Leisure were kicked out of a bar! Ha!
