Day 2 – When the Bottom Fell Out

I woke up at 7:15 today. That’s a little better!

I went up top to get a Coke Zero, and then came back to get into swimsuits.

We planned on spending the morning at Satellite Falls today!

Right here!

We tried to take some selfies, with marginal success.

I did get up to go take pictures for a while.

It was just gorgeous out!

The pools didn’t have any lines in the morning.

Then we swam for a while!

Later we went to change and had a late lunch at Royal Palace. Just for the halibut.

We ran into these two on the way to the room!

When we left the room, there was another Appear and Wave happening!

Debbie had the halibut, of course.

I had a burger!

We shopped a little afterwards.

Then we napped and went to trivia.

Afterwards we took showers and got ready for dinner. We stopped to iron as well!

Minnie was fancy tonight!

So were we!

Kind of.

Ish.

Our dinner was in Animator’s.

Pasta pursettes!

Crush came by!

I had pasta.

Debbie had more fish I think?

The menus were on our phones, but they did have paper ones if requested.

I had a sundae for dessert!

Debbie’s:

After dinner we were walking and found Tanya! I knew she was on, but we hadn’t seen her yet! We talked for a few minutes and then went to trivia.

Where the bottom fell out. Literally!

Is that dramatic enough?

We found a place and I ordered a Diet Coke (no Coke Zero in some of the bars). He brought it to me, and I had a sip and put it back down.

Then I picked it up for another drink a few minutes later, and…

The whole bottom of my glass fell off!!

Like the bottom third! It went everywhere!

Our server was horrified. They were so worried I cut myself, which I hadn’t. But the bottom of the glass was right there on the floor!

It was actually kind of amusing. An officer came by to check on me and insist on dry cleaning my dress. The server came back to check on me about 12 times. No lie. He felt soooo bad. I assured him I was just fine!

We made our way to see Believe after that! How I love deck 4.

We came back in from taking that picture, forgot to put our masks on, and right into cruise director Jimmy! Who was very kind when we realized our error.

After the show, we went up top for socially distanced fireworks!
