Day 2 – Sea Day
Today we started off the day with a meeting!
Actually, I guess I started off with breakfast!
I went to Cabanas. The ship was still rocking and rolling, we were right on the edge of a hurricane apparently. It was a little tricky getting ready that morning without falling!
Cabanas was empty! Just a few travel agents really! At one point, one of the baskets of bread crashed to the floor! Everything that wasn’t built into the buffet was at risk!
I ate and made my way to Carioca’s where we were meeting. We had a great meeting, and after a couple of hours, we finally lost the hurricane! So everything got much calmer.
A few people had to excuse themselves that morning due to seasickness, but I was fine! I used to battle seasickness regularly, but over time, I’ve found my sea legs! I could join the Navy at this point.
It was remarkable how calm it became at some point. And lovely!
We broke for lunch, and then met some more. We had a busy day!
We had dinner in Animator’s that night! I was still feeling awkward about pictures around so many other agents, so I took none!
