Day 2 – No Bones Day!

I woke up in the night, just sure it was morning.  When I finally looked at my phone, it was only 5 am.  Oy.  I read for about an hour, and then fell back asleep!

Then I slept until 8:30!  Much mo better.

Debbie went up to the lounge to get coffee, and then we got ready for the day!

Today we had no real plans until dinner, and had a two hour session in the Rainforest Room.  This was a No Bones kind of day for sure!

I took a picture of the phone for no other reason than the fact that this version is so much better than the ones on the Dream and Fantasy!

After we got dressed, we went up to the lounge, where I got some hot chocolate and Debbie got more coffee.

While we were sitting there, some guests were asking Glenn lots of questions about rooms and cruises. We heard him ask if they wanted to see the Walt Disney Suite. Ack! I do!

Haha! I’ve seen it before, but I never get tired of them. Plus it has been updated! They all left and I was happy for them.

I spy Goofy!

After a little while Glenn came back and asked if we wanted to go see it! Yes yes yes!

So we went with him.

The Walt Suite on the classic ships is over 1000 square feet, and sleeps 7. It used to have a lot of brown paneling, but has been majorly updated. It looks great!

I could have taken pictures for an hour, but I didn’t want to make Glenn sit through that!

Here’s the little kitchenette:

Look how beautiful!

This is the primary room:

And gorgeous bathroom!

Living room:

Dining room:

I didn’t get a picture of the other bedroom but it had two beds and pull downs. Plus a bathroom. There was a third bathroom, a half bath.

That was super cool! It was so nice of Glenn to take the time to give us a tour!

We said goodbye and went to lunch in Cabanas after that. Here’s mine:

Debbie’s:

With a beautiful view!

We decided for dessert it was time to try the beignets in the French Quarter Lounge!

This looks familiar!

These didn’t quite have enough powdered sugar, but they were delicious! And not as messy!

After that, we went up top to sit outside for a little while before our Rainforest appointment!

It wasn’t very warm, so it was quiet up top.

We happened upon the chipmunks in the atrium!

Then we went back to the room to change into our swimsuits! We had an afternoon towel animal!

Plus some mask spray, which I’ve gotten once before and have come to love. It’s such a great refresher for cloth masks!

Then it was Rainforest Room time! Under current conditions, you rent the entire Rainforest Room for your party. You have it for almost two hours, and being in there alone is heavenly!

These heated tile chairs are worth the price of admission alone!

I love the showers too!

We sweated it out in the saunas after exfoliating, and then spent the rest of the time in the tile chairs. I think I fell sound asleep for about 30 minutes.

No. Bones.

I posted a video tour on my Cruising with Tammy Instagram account! It’s in my saved stories if you want to go look.

Then it was time to leave. I could have stayed for another two hours!

We showered and got ready for dinner and there was a knock on the door… Jay and Joy!! Woohoo!

We drank our Cloudem, then went up to the lounge where we had – more Cloudem. Ha!

This was the other side of the lounge:

Before long it was time for dinner at Palo! My favorite. They were ready for us!

Our server was named Ricardo and he was from Portugal. He was wonderful, and I am hoping he’s still onboard for the Ladies of Leisure this August!

Here we are!

I jumped up to take a couple of pictures before it filled up.

We started with an Amuse-bouche, which is quite tasty!

I could eat every bite of this bread basket. Every bite.

Debbie had calamari:

I had Mac & Cheese. Which was delicious! But huge!

I had a filet with the Yukon Gold Potatoes on the side for an entrée!

Debbie had the traditional filet:

And the souffle that never disappoints!

Ricardo also brought us a beautiful plate!

After dinner we went to the Golden Mickeys, which had actually changed a little since the last time I’d seen it!

Then it was bedtime. That was a great, super relaxing day!
