Day 14 –  Pink Beaches!

Kelly had researched where to go to the beach in Bermuda.  Horseshoe Beach is the most popular, but we decided to start a little south of there at some amazing beaches and walk that way during the day.

Our taxi driver was very concerned about dropping us off in a deserted area.  He was sure we were going to the wrong place and would be marooned!  Ha!  But Kelly had done her research.  We were exactly where we wanted to be!

It’s very hard to tell in pictures, but the sand actually had pink granules! It was so pretty!

We swam and hiked through the coves and beaches. It was a great way to spend the day!

We didn’t see another soul for a couple of hours, until we got closer to Horseshoe.

Here it is!

We swam a little more, and then caught a cab back. We had ice cream when we got back!

We had dinner in O’Gills tonight!  We wanted to try out some of the new bar food. It was yummy!
