Day 1 – Boarding in NYC!

Arrival day – We landed in NYC the afternoon before the cruise! Dad and Mom had come in the day before to catch a show.

We met up with them in our hotel which was in Times Square, and went out to find dinner.

We ate and walked and walked and walked. We also found gelato! We had this beautiful gelato in London once before!

Then it was bedtime!

Day 1 – And it was time! We woke up, got ready, and got a Lyft over to the port. We’re here!

We’re on! Hello, Big Apple!

We ate in Cabanas.

And then we wandered the ship!

I didn’t seem to have taken out my camera the first two days! I only have phone pictures for some reason! Such a fail!

I think, by way of explanation, there were a couple of years where I was so behind on trip reports, and didn’t have a great place to post them. So I didn’t think I would be writing one!

That meant I didn’t take as many pictures, and I didn’t take notes. I promise, I will be better now that trips are starting to resume again! 😊 Anywhoo…

We had dinner in Lumiere’s and it was a blur. The ship left really late! We were tracking the ship so we didn’t miss sailing by the Statue of Liberty. I think at some point between our entrees and desserts, we all four jumped up and ran out!
