Day 6 – Homecomin’

We slept until eight today! Woohoo!

Then we went to Animal Kingdom Lodge to check on our room.

No room yet!

We walked around and waited for everyone to arrive.

Sherry was close, so we sat and waited for her!

We went in the community center and took free pics!

Kelly and Renita were next and they were arriving right as we needed to leave for our reservations at Homecomin’!

We got them off the bus, dropped off their bags and hightailed it down to the busses to Disney Springs.

Kris was on DME and on her way, but not going to make it before the bus left. So Mukta waited for her and they caught a Lyft over!

My goodness there were so many good choices!

I had an important work call come in right as we were sitting down, so I told everyone what I wanted and went outside to talk on the phone for a while.

We got a text that our room was ready, so some of us headed back to AKL while others stayed to shop.

We got there and tried to get to our room. And couldn’t… It was crazy!

The halls were closed, there was tape in the halls, electrical equipment and more. Hall –

We finally found it and texted instructions to the other girls, but they didn’t see it in time so they did the same thing!

Kelly gave us all her Fish Extender present early! And it was awesome!

Mukta and Kris and I were spending the evening at Animal Kingdom. It was drizzling when we got there. So we used our new umbrellas!

Then we were on safari.

The lions were amazing, but I was on the wrong side! Mukta should have a good picture!

There was a cute soccer match happening when we got off.

We explored for a little!

Then it was time for dinner at Tiffins!

Kris and I split the very very expensive steak.

Delicious, but very expensive.

After dinner we watched the Tree of Life Awaken for a while, and then headed back to the room!

Or Kris and I did. Mukta probably went to another park! Ha!
