Day 6 – Bears in Juneau!

We woke up at 7 today, and went for breakfast.

We were in Juneau, and our plan was to take the bus to Mendenhall Glacier.

There’s the Sanctuary from above!

And we are off!

We caught a shuttle bus and on the way there, they told us there was about a 1 percent chance we would see a bear today!

Never tell me the odds.

When we got off, we heard there was a momma bear and two cubs on the trail by the busses! Ackkkk!

We watched them for a while and then we walked to the visitor’s center and then took the trail to the glacier and waterfall.

When we got back, we had just missed a bus. But then we heard someone say there was another bear! Ackkkk!

They were fishing!

That was exhilarating.

We walked through the town a little, loved this shirt.

Then we ate at the buffet back onboard.

We took a nap and shower after lunch. Then dinner! Or dessert as it may be.

We found our friends after dinner and then went to movie trivia. Movie trivia is my jam. We almost won! But not quite.

Then we watched the Newlywed game which is always fun.

Then it was bedtime!

Day 9 – Home Again!
