Day 4 – Glacier Bay Day!

 

I was super excited about going into Glacier Bay today.  Disney gets some criticism for not visiting Glacier Bay, so I was anxious to see what I’ve been missing.

We also had the Sanctuary booked!  The Sanctuary is just that.  A sanctuary.  It’s a reservation only area on the back of the ship.  You reserve lounge chairs and even a cabana if you like.  It includes concierge type attention all day, and they bring meals to you.  It also comes with two bottles of wine, which we gifted to our new Australian friends!

We woke up at 6 today!

We had breakfast and then went to the Sanctuary. And had breakfast again! Haha!

Well we just loved the Sanctuary! I walked back out to grab something from our room.

There was a whale out there!

On the shore over there was a momma and three baby bears!! I could see them in our binoculars, but my lens wasn’t quite big enough!

There were otters all over!

It was just beautiful out. I took a little nap at some point.

We were especially happy to not be down in that crowd!

After a wonderful day, we had some quick dinner, and then went to our room at 7:30. We were sound asleep by 8:30!
