Day 2 – Ship Tours

We woke up to a beautiful Florida day!

We got ready and drove to the terminal.

Royal does a super job at check-in, it’s soooo fast.  We were onboard within 10-15 minutes.

We were only supposed to bring carry-ons, and our rooms weren’t quite ready, so we started some room tours with our carry-ons in tow!

We started in this room which may be one of the coolest rooms I’ve seen on a ship!  The Ultimate Family Suite.

I present you – a two story room WITH A SLIDE!

And this verandah is so fun!

Here’s the master:

And the kid’s room. Big kids or little kids, it works for both!

Game room!

I fully support this min-bar.

Then we were off to a Royal Suite Class! This was also gorgeous.

Giant tub! Now we’re talking!

Look at these views:

After that we went to see if our room was done. We were expecting an inside room, and we were just happy to be there so we were not complaining. We went to the digital screens to look up our room, and when we put in the room number, a picture of a junior suite was coming up!

Uh… did we get an upgrade? WE DID! We had a junior suite! Woohoo!

A junior suite on Royal isn’t a suite like you may be picturing, it’s all one room. But it’s a great size!

There was a huge walk-in closet, and, thank the heavens, a bath tub!! Woohoo!!

We took a video, a couple of pictures and headed out to find food.

The pool was empty:

Lunch!

Then it was time for more rooms. Looking down on the AquaTheater:

Look at these cool bunk beds:

And a virtual balcony!

This room overlooks Central Park, where we were heading next!

Central Park!

We stopped by Chops because they were giving out food samples. Steak samples to be exact!

Inside!

The Solarium:

The Solarium is only for adults, and is always one of my favorite places on the ship.

Before long it was time to meet everyone for dinner. We got ready and had a great dinner with some other agents and our Royal rep.

We finished the night in one of the hot tubs! I love this ship!
