Day 1 – Driving to Miami

Today was the day!  We woke up and finished up our Disney Dish activities with breakfast at Coronado Springs.  After everyone was gone, we caught Magical Express back to the airport where we picked up a rental car.

And then drove right to a mall!  Ha!

My (new!) laptop was giving me so much grief, so I had to make a stop at the Microsoft store.

They tried to tell me it would be fine, but midstream they changed their mind and decided they should replace it.  So they did!

And I was off with my new laptop again.

Unfortunately, we were approaching rush hour at this point, so the drive to Miami took us so much longer than I was expecting!

We were staying in an amazing hotel right on the beach, and I wanted to get there early enough to enjoy it!  But sadly, it was raining when we got there, so we wouldn’t have been able to do much anyway!

We were staying at St Regis Bal Harbour in Miami Beach, and wow, it was spectacular.  I wish we had a couple of nights there!

Our room was ginormous!

This closet was one of two!

But this bathroom was the bathroom of my dreams.

I have GOT to get back here!
