Day 1 – Arrival at All Star Sports

So this trip just got longer and longer! At first I added a couple of days at Animal Kingdom Lodge with several of the ladies, as is our way. Then Mukta asked if I wanted to come a couple of days before that, so we booked All Star Sports. Then DVC announced an after hours party at Animal Kingdom a couple of days before that. So Mukta and I changed our flights! Then Stephen had to go to DC the week before the cruise. Being empty nesters, I decided to go with him! We wanted to spend the weekend after with friends. Then he was flying to Alabama for the week and I was going home for one day alone and then flying back to Florida.

Well that seemed silly! So I changed my flight again and added two more nights.

Did you follow all that craziness? It sounds like a boondoggle, but all made sense at the time.

We both flew out Sunday afternoon and I landed around eight pm. I got to the resort and dropped off my bags in the room before heading to the food court.

Oh my heck. The food court was the craziest thing I’d ever seen! I have never seen lines like that before. There was easily a 30 minute wait for every single food station.

So I grabbed a bag of nacho flavored Doritos and a refillable mug and headed to my room!

I did want these, but I didn’t wait!

I read until past midnight and finally went to sleep!

Day 4 – Much Food and No Wine!
Day 5 – Three Parks and One Cupcake
Day 6 – Moving to Animal Kingdom Lodge
Day 7 – Epcot in the Sweltering Heat 
Day 8 – Resort Day and Jiko
